Cloud banking architecture that survives production.

I bring 20+ years of technology experience delivering complex digital transformation initiatives for financial institutions, with a focus on Salesforce-powered cloud banking platforms across lending, credit risk, DevOps strategy, integrations, and production readiness.

My strongest work lives between architecture and execution: aligning stakeholders on the design, then staying close to the build, testing, deployment, and go-live details that make the solution real.

Featured Case Study

First Production Deployment of Credit Risk Monitoring

Led a first-of-kind Early Warning Indicator implementation for a major U.S. financial institution, introducing a scalable credit monitoring architecture across relationship and deal-level workflows.

View implementation details

The Challenge

The implementation had no prior production reference architecture and needed to support high-volume Credit Memo Document processing without row lock failures, manual intervention, or fragile operational dependencies.

The Approach

Designed an asynchronous Salesforce architecture using platform events, after-create triggers, and async action item creation to separate bulk processing from user-facing transaction flows.

The Outcome

Established a reusable implementation pattern, improved visibility into integration health, and created a more resilient processing model for production-scale financial services operations.

Technical proof points

Platform-event-based async Flow architecture Bulk-safe Apex disposition processing LWC dashboard for operations visibility Scheduled monitoring and alerting for upstream feeds Root cause analysis of Bulk API row lock failures Production pattern reusable by future teams

Copado Templates for Record-Based Configuration

Streamlined two complex nCino features that relied heavily on record-based configuration into repeatable Copado Data Deploy Templates, reducing environment setup from hours of manual work to minutes.

View implementation details

The Challenge

The client needed reliable promotion of complex nCino record-based configuration across environments, including related financial spreading and policy engine records with dependencies that could not be handled safely by ad hoc manual setup.

The Approach

Designed and validated multi-step Copado Data Deploy Templates with a documented loading sequence, external-ID-based references, and a two-pass deployment pattern to resolve circular dependencies between related managed-package objects.

The Outcome

Turned a fragile, time-consuming implementation task into a repeatable deployment asset, helping the team move configuration across environments faster, cleaner, and with less manual intervention.

Technical proof points

Copado Data Deploy Template design Record-based configuration migration Financial spreading and policy engine setup External ID references for portable deployments Two-pass circular dependency resolution Manual setup reduced from hours to minutes

Built for regulated complexity.

The work is confidential by nature, but the operating themes are consistent: clarify the workflow, protect the platform, align the stakeholders, and make the system usable.

Senior architecture is judgment under pressure.

01

Make complexity explainable

The best architecture can survive a whiteboard, a steering call, and the hands of the people operating it.

02

Design for adoption

A diagram is only useful when it becomes a workflow that teams actually trust and use.

03

Keep governance close

Security, access, release, and data decisions belong inside the architecture conversation, not after it.

04

Translate ambiguity

The work starts when goals, constraints, and stakeholders are all real but not yet aligned.

Credentials that actually deliver.

Strategy on one side. Systems on the other.
